PURPOSE

1. Educate the public and specialty organizations

2. Develop and support a supportive housing plan for the state based on need

3. Explore new strategies and programs

4. Discuss future changes in state policy and programs

5. Facilitate the collaboration between affordable housing organizations and social service organizations

            Ms. Nan Roman, President and CEO of the National Alliance to End Homelessness, Washington, DC.

The Alliance was responsible for the devising the national plan to end homelessness during the George W. Bush Administration and will review the progress of state and national efforts to end chronic homelessness through the expansion of supportive housing.
